New Delhi Monkey Gang: Unsigned, Undeterred

Well, Hil and Faye got the band back together, and while they are still dead-set on singing about vampires, vampire cake and perhaps even vampire bris, they may soon be looking for a new band name.

This is where you come in, dear reader, with yet another chance to inspire--or at the very least corrupt--the world of Sally Forth. Just choose your favorite band name from the list below and maybe, just maybe, you'll see it printed in almost 20 newspapers across the contiguous United States.

1. Ron Weasley Harding
2. Cupcake Thunderbrake
3. And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Our Bread
4. Rawkstars
5. Francine and the Trousers
6. Faye and Hil Meet the Harlem Globetrotters
7. Rockcandy Raspberry
8. Dog Day Afternoon Delight
9. New Delhi Monkey Gang Experience
10. Interpol

How 'bout "Teenage Girl President", as a shout out to Medium Large Nation?

OK, I'll stop begging for ML's return, but I do think it would be a funny band name, especially for a band composed of tweenage girls.

I'm not sure, but I think 10 is already taken. I think either 5 or 9 would be quite wonderful, though.

I want a Cupcake Thunderbrake t-shirt! *throws horns*

Shouldn't it be just "And you will know us by the trail of bread"?

My vote's for that or 6.

The Trail of Bread is a clear winner from this list. And I love the blog, keep it up!

"Trail of Our Bread" is a pretty good band name, but "Teenage Girl President" (or the plural) is an even better one.

The Raspberry one, or TGP!

Tough Cookies woiuld be good as well, with the ol' Tough Cookie his-self painted on the drumhead.

My favorite is #8, but my write-in candidate is Ambiguously Tween. Maybe they can cover the songs I used in my Hillary and Faye tribute.

One vote for Trail of Bread!

Funny stuff, man.

I vote for #9 - and the return of Medium Large! That was one damn funny comic, and I miss it terribly.

Don't use Interpol, some crappy indie band is probably already using it.

Ambiguously Tween is very funny, but I, too, vote (as it were) for Teenage Girl President!

Another vote for "Teenage Girl President". Hilary's wearing her shirt after all.

TGP, definitely. And Ted's new job should be as their creepy manager.

I think Cupcake Thunderbrake would work best. While I enjoyed the Bread one, I don't think that long name can fit across a modern comics strip panel. But if you can respond to the write-in campaign for Teenage Girl President, that would be my first choice too.

Cupcake Thunderbrake, whoooooooooo! I like it even better than "Teenage Girl President", please don't hurt me.

Faye and Hil Meet the Harlem Globetrotters. Or Teenage Girl President.

Oh, please, please, please Teenage Girl President!

Clearly it's #9. Anything with monkey in the name is an instant winner for me.

#5 makes a decent backup choice though.

Cupcake Thunderbrake, if it's necessary to quite a winner like NDMG.

Glad you're blogging again, you devastatingly handsome and funny devil.
