Why was I expecting a straight-forward Garfield strip? The twist caught me totally off guard and was that much funnier for it, I think...

This proves you can make a Garfield cartoon funny without the removing the main character or his ability to speak.
Wait . . . I thought Jon and Liz were getting along pretty well. He's even given her some nice, non-dorky presents. Wouldn't that be enough to get him some action?
